College Football

Ahhhhh Football, college football to be specific, not that into pro ball. Although I remember watching the Cowboys with my parents during the days of Roger Staubach and Ed Too Tall Jones and I still love a good Cowboys game. Anyway, both my alma maters played in bowl games last night. Baylor and Texas Tech, back to back. Admittedly, if it hadn’t been for Devin coming home and turning it on I would have missed it, but he did so I didn’t. Baylor took it home, despite missing a bunch of our starting line up. Tech was not picked to win, and after trying for two on their first score of the game (what were they thinking!) I was concerned about them living up to the bad press, then I was haunted briefly by the possibility that lost extra point might come between us and the win, nope, it was all those extra touch downs by LSU. Not bad entertainment for a snowy winter evening. -Misty
